Based in North East Derbyshire and close to the Sheffield border, little heart starters focuses on teaching children aged 3+ basic first aid awareness and skills, giving them the knowledge and confidence to be able to deal with a first aid situation should one arise.
Courses take place in the school holidays and are open to children aged 6 -16 years of age. The sessions are designed around the national curriculum so they are age appropriate. Children will learn basic first aid awareness and skills, recognising an emergency, calling 999, CPR and how to use a defibrillator (aged 11-16 will be taught how to use a defibrillator)
